Transformer fitted with Active-Tag temperature sensorsThe financial world is under different stress, caused by the evolutions of many different economic and financial indicators. The stock market provides a direct reaction to the evolution of the global economy, whereas the currency exchange rate provides a reaction to the political decisions, or lack of political decisions. In any case, nowadays the financial tool is used to facilitate the exchange of risks rather than working on the process analysis.Within the “industrialized” countries, the growth rate has shrinked to a ridiculous 1-2% but the condition of stability of a modern economy is still based on the growth. This difficult equation can only be solved by the process analysis and optimization, and risks must be taken to break some good old habits. |

| The model of lean enterprise has replaced the business process improvement of the ‘90s. The modern view takes a more holistic approach where the definition and reduction of waste is generic. Improving the flow, or smoothness, of work requires a good understanding of the inventory in real-time. In order to increase the throughput money using the capital assets, one of the key factor is about knowing which asset is where in real-time. By nature, the Active-Tag is one of the tools that contribute to the lean enterprise. Investing in this technology as a tool to prevent an excess of waste is a highly rewarding risk, much greater than working with today’s extremely volatile financial tools. |

3D rendering of the bracelet tag. Dimension: 1.1” x 1.1”
The design of the bracelet tag was requested by many customers in an answer to many different hospital cases.
The dimension, only 1.1” x 1.1”, and the shape are compatible with the usage for light person identification. Removing, or cutting out the replaceable wrist-wrap sends specific information within the Status byte of the frame.
With 10 years of battery lifetime, the bracelet tag remains compatible with all the products of the second generation active tags from INGECOM.

Each repairman has its own toolbox fitted with a tag inside this aviation company (TuiFLy). The toolbox must be weighted prior to leaving the warehouse. When returning, the weight must be the same. The Active-Tag detects the presence of all toolboxes within the warehouse. The unique ID is used as an entry to the database to determine the status of each toolbox in real-time. The controllers mounted on-board utility vehicles determine which asset is within the range of the vehicle. This function allows an efficient pick-up of the assets to be brought at destination. It also ensures that none of the assets is left over. An information is also provided to the driver to indicate the presence of a worker around the vehicle.
